The third quarter sales results for the greater Flathead are in with strong advances in nearly every segment and data set. The quarter was capped off with total sales volume of over $69 million in the month of September alone, the highest single month since October of 2007.
Third quarter growth built on gains realized in the second quarter earlier this year. We have seen six straight months of total sales volume over $50 million. There had not been a single month with sales over the $50M mark since September of 2008.

While these third quarter results are very positive, there is little consensus as to what impact the impending election will have on financial and real estate markets. If the positive sales trends continue to diminish our inventory, there will be upward pricing pressure on existing inventory along with increased demand for new construction in the Valley.
